The 2025 Commonwealth Scholarship includes and covers :

10 PhD and 19 Masters scholarships all fully funded by the UK government.

Eligibility Criteria:
For Masters Applicants:
- Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Degree: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2nd Class Upper Division.
- Documents: Two (2) referee statements, a study proposal showing the potential impact on Kenya, and a quality study plan.
- Start Date: Must be available to begin studies by September 2025 or 2026.
For PhD Applicants:
- Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan citizen.
- Degree: Must hold a Master’s degree from a recognized university.
- Documents: Two (2) referee statements, one supporting statement from a UK supervisor, a study proposal with an impact on Kenya, and a quality study plan.
- Registration: Cannot already be registered for a PhD at any university in the UK or Kenya.
