Eligibility Criteria:

For Masters Applicants:

  • Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan citizen.
  • Degree: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree with at least a 2nd Class Upper Division.
  • Documents: Two (2) referee statements, a study proposal showing the potential impact on Kenya, and a quality study plan.
  • Start Date: Must be available to begin studies by September 2025 or 2026.

For PhD Applicants:

  • Citizenship: Must be a Kenyan citizen.
  • Degree: Must hold a Master’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Documents: Two (2) referee statements, one supporting statement from a UK supervisor, a study proposal with an impact on Kenya, and a quality study plan.
  • Registration: Cannot already be registered for a PhD at any university in the UK or Kenya.
